YAWF Hub Privacy Policy

YAWF Hub is designed for local processing on your Mac. Effective date: July 16, 2026.

Data Collection

YAWF Hub does not track you, collect analytics, create user accounts, sell personal data, or collect data linked to your identity.

Local App Data

YAWF Hub stores settings, Activity, saved actions, personal defaults, manual automation definitions, automation logs, and shelf information locally in the app data folder. Shelf information can include shelf names, colors, pin state, and local references to items you added. Text, links, or clipboard images added to a shelf are staged as local files in YAWF Hub's app data folder. Activity remains until you clear Activity. Shelf clippings are removed when you remove or clear them. Other local data remains until you clear it with the relevant app control or remove YAWF Hub's local app data. Because the developer does not receive this data, there is no server-side profile or content to request for deletion.

User Content

Typed or pasted text, manually pasted clipboard images, and user-selected text, image, audio, video, PDF, archive, folder, and link content stay on your Mac. Shelves collect local references and app-owned clippings without changing source files. Selected content is processed locally for supported text, media, document, archive, checksum, rename-copy, encoding, and structured-data operations. Content leaves YAWF Hub only when you explicitly copy or save an output, drag an item to another app, or choose a service from the macOS Share menu. A selected share service receives the items you chose under that service's own privacy terms. YAWF Hub does not upload shelf content to a developer server. Generated outputs are separate files in YAWF Hub's local app container or a location you explicitly select. Source files are not overwritten.

Offline Intelligence Beta

Offline Intelligence Beta is off by default. If you turn it on, YAWF Hub uses deterministic local routing to improve action results from words you enter and metadata already inspected for the selected input. It does not use a provider key, download a model, make a network request, or inspect content in the background. You can turn it off at any time, and every core workflow remains available while it is off.

Mac App Store Build

File access is limited by App Sandbox. The Mac App Store build reads only files you explicitly choose, drop, or paste, and writes generated output to its local app container or a location you explicitly choose. It does not require broad Downloads folder access.

Diagnostics

If YAWF Hub crashes, diagnostic text may be written locally to the app log or app data folder. YAWF Hub does not automatically transmit crash diagnostics.
